Guide: Disney Boycott
Disney is trampling free speech rights in the United States by capitulating to the Trump Administration's threats. All to ensure a merger isn't rejected later. It's disgusting.
Since Disney only cares about money, here’s how you can make the decision they’ve just made extremely painful for them.
The following companies are owned by Disney
- Walt Disney Studios (duh)
- Pixar
- Hulu
- ESPN
- ABC
- Lucasfilm (Star Wars)
- Marvel
- 20th Century (FOX)
Don't buy merchandise from any franchise owned by any of these companies. Disney loves to plaster it's characters on everything from paper plates to God only knows what else.
If you must buy Disney stuff, but it used from thrift stores, eBay, FB marketplace, etc.
Cancel your Subscriptions to Disney's streaming services.
Keep in mind, if you started these subscriptions through a third party service like Amazon, you'll need to cancel them through there.
Cancel your cable provider
Most of the money you pay your cable provider (Spectrum, COX, etc) goes to Disney, since they own a vast array of TV Channels. Who the hell even watches cable anyway? Get rid of it! It's no different if you've got an internet based cable provider like YoutubeTV, or FUBO.
Cancel Disney Park/Cruise Reservations
Disney makes most of it's money off of this stuff. Hit them where it hurts and go to Universal Studios instead. It's better anyway.

If you live close to the parks, consider organizing a protest.
Sell your Disney Stock
It's wise even if you're not interested in the boycott. Disney's already a sinking ship, and this wont help at all. Get out while you can.

Don't buy products from companies that advertise on ABC
If you have the time, watch ABC News, take note of who's advertising with them, and call those companies and let them know that you will not purchase anything from them until they pull their advertising from that channel. Apparently, this is tremendously effective.

- COX Cable (Cancel them anyway, they're complicit)

As of now, Kimmel is back. That being said, there's no real reason to stop. Keep the pressure on them until they give Trump the finger more forcefully.
