USA! USA! USA!

I love america and here's why

America is the greatest country on this planet. I 100% believe this even now as Donald Trump wrecks everything he can as his ego spirals into strange, new places. First of all, the fact that a stupid jackass like Donald Trump could even become president is in itself wild. In any other country, he’d have starved to death decades ago. Here? That man is president. Historically speaking, the level of prosperity is absurd. It seems like whenever Donald Trump isn’t president, people seem to prosper.

I grew up incredibly poor. My mom never worked and my dad’s ego makes Donald Trump’s look downright tiny. The man could never hold a job, and yet, I’m alive. I got to eat the entire time.I was educated. I had clothes. I didn’t starve to death. I got to live, regardless of my fathers incompetence. Now? I own a home and a car. I work a great job, and I’m married to the greatest woman on Earth. My children are happy, and the world, while not perfect, is quite peaceful. I know that this country has its problems, but those are problems with people. The founding principles that make America what it is are 100% why I’m not a corpse right now. It’s possible I wouldn’t have existed at all.

The problems boil down to incompetent politicians and CEOs. I don’t have all the answers. I understand policy, but I’m nobody to be discussing it. Both parties are woefully incompetent right now. The Democrats can’t govern for crap, and the Republicans are too busy playing Banana Republic to care about anything beyond it. Both sides have begun to embrace what I call “bullshit”. It’s not your regular bullshit though, it’s 21st century bullshit. The rhetoric has outpaced what any of these people are actively capable of. It reminds me of pro wrestling. Obama will talk massive shit about Trump, but the two get along like old friends every single time they get together. It’s adorable really, and humanizes both of them. I don't think Trump is a monster. I think he’s an idiot. Conversely, I don’t think Obama is Jesus Christ. He’s just a guy, like you or me. He happened to become president at one point. I’m happy for him.

Everything in politics here is rhetoric. Most of the stuff the current administration is doing is for show. It's a game to them. Trump, being stupid, destroys the relatively decent economy he was handed, he blames Biden, nobody believes any of it, The End. I don’t believe Biden gave him a “good economy”. That shit was gonna tank regardless. Trump just accelerated it. All of this is a narrative. None of these people know what they’re doing and they’re flying by the seats of their pants. It’s like when you realize your mom and dad were barely hanging on while you were growing up. Our entire government is like that. The best part is that it’s by design. Nobody has all the power, and even if they did, they’re not in it for long enough to use it effectively. That alone is enough to keep tyrants out long term, if you ask me.

People often selectively believe what politicians say. For instance, Trump recently said to a bunch of stone faced generals that he wanted to “fight the enemy within”. People who don’t think critically were terrified by this assertion. They are selectively believing what he’s saying. Nothing else coming out of his mouth is worth a damn, just that. I don’t fully understand why. The man's been full of shit every single day since the moment I discovered him. You honestly think THIS is the moment that he’s suddenly being honest? He doesn’t even know what that means. He’s just parroting nonsense Steven Miller taught him. Our Military isn’t going to follow through with any of that. They’re not allowed to, because this country is great. The military isn’t bound to an individual. It’s bound to the constitution.

I love this country because I can say all of this, and know for certain nobody can stop me. This isn’t North Korea. I can call Steven Miller any name I want and there’s nothing that bald asshole can do about it. I use that example because he wishes he could. Americans have a right to demonstrate peacefully any time we want for any reason. I might just go protest something later. I don’t know what, but I’ll find it.

Even when things are ridiculous, America is still the greatest country on Earth by a long shot. Our current administration is filled to the brim with jackasses that drank their own kool-aid. Rather than fear the idea that they may stick around forever, I know for a fact that they’ll fail, because they don’t understand the system well enough to succeed. Even if they did, the American people are far too resistant to that kind of crap to allow it. People voted Trump in because they wanted relief in a bad economy. That’s really all that matters here. Don’t get in the way of people's prosperity, and you’ll soar as a politician. Trump, being a dummy, did the exact opposite. Independents like me that voted him in are now completely against him. That’s the system working as intended.

I did not get to vote in the last election. The problem comes down to my signature being wrong. I will be voting this next time, and it won't be for the republicans. I tend to float around a lot politically. I don’t have an allegiance to any party, and the reasons are all over this page. There’s no real difference between the two parties in this country. They’re different flavors of the same food. Right now, it’s just a slight difference in who you hate. Democrats hate rich people, and Republicans hate Mexicans. It’s the same shit though. Scapegoats meant to shield them from their own incompetence. Democrats don’t actually care about me any more than Republicans do. This doesn’t disappoint me because I never expected them to care about me anyway. I’ll handle my own shit, just don’t break the economy and we’ll be fine.

I really love the United States of America because I get to meet people with many different backgrounds and opinions. I could walk two blocks from the irl Dale Gribble I know and meet with an Indian family that’ll feed me the spiciest food in the world. The Dale Gribble has the best fried food in the world. They live in the same neighborhood and they’re both radically different. Some people don’t like that, and they’re un-American.

I don’t respect people that disrespect our country. There’s a difference between healthy criticism and outright disrespect. As I've mentioned repeatedly, our current government has no respect or love for America. They basically just lie all the time, and do whatever self serving crap they wanna do. It’s pitiful, and we’ll be voting them out soon. Russia seems to be our #1 enemy right now. Mostly because Vladdy boy is a stupid punk. He’ll die of some random Russian disease and then maybe, maybe Russian will knock his shit off. I don’t know, I don’t care. America is well above all the stupid crap going on in Russia. It’s not even close, frankly. They’re haters that are mad they’re not us. You can’t become America financially if you don’t have our constitution.

The constitution is what allows America to be what it is. That’s why so many people have prospered over the last 250 years. Those that choose not to follow tend to have a shitty time, see: the rest of the planet. I mean sure, other countries prosper, but not like us. When you’re not worried about what kind of crap the government is up to, you have more time to innovate and make money. Sure, we’ve got whackjobs like Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump, but of course we do. Our constitution makes it possible for anyone, no matter how crazy, to run for office. Other people, mostly crazy, then vote, and there ya go.

I may be criticizing Trump a lot, which isn’t interesting, but he’s the one who won. Had Kamala won, I’d be ripping on her right now. It’s part of the job, man. I don’t make the rules. I’m glad Trump won because a lot of the shit that’s happening right now is really fucking funny. There’s a lot of crazy stuff, and it seems like he wants to out-9/11 9/11, but again, the whole thing is bullshit. Both sides in the last election were bullshit artists. The bigger bullshit artist won. Why are you surprised?

You get a lot of people running around criticizing this country for this or that. They burn flags, act indignant, the works. I don’t mind this at all. I don’t agree that “the machine of capitalism is oiled with the blood of the workers”, but I respect others ability to say it. I don’t think burning the flag is a bad thing, just a good indicator that I don’t need to talk to that person. When you love this country as much as I do, you’ll realize that since it’s so great, nobody, anywhere, in any way, is capable of convincing anyone that it isn’t great. Those that try are doomed to fail. Frankly, those people burning the flag and criticizing capitalism are mostly angry at people, not America itself. Capitalism works just fine, it’s the people that are fucking around with it that are the problem. I think that trying to prevent someone from voicing an anti-American opinion is more anti-American than the opinion. Don’t you have faith in your country? Do you love your country? Then let them speak.

Some might view this as me “looking the other way” at the fools in office and their antics. I’m not. I see what they’re doing for what it is: Feckless dick waving of zero substance. Like I said, politics have become pro-wrestling lite. I think that should stop. Let’s go back to a time when the worst thing that was going on in the White House was Clinton getting his dick sucked. I honestly don’t even blame him for that. His wife was and still is a shrill ghoul. I wouldn’t want to have anything to do with her either. The problem is, Pro-Wrestling is about as American as it gets. So if our politicians decide they want more attention and notice that they can get it by way of threatening each other, who’s to say they should stop? I think if we recognize it as the bullshit it is, it’ll become ineffective and they’ll stop as a response.

The greatest thing about America, over absolutely everything else, is that the politicians aren’t even in charge. You and I are. Don’t ever let them trick you into thinking anything but. You go out and vote, and do it every chance you get. You may not agree with me at all, and I don’t care. Go vote for the guy that I don’t like. This is a wonderful country and I’m glad that I get the opportunity to say things like that. I’m glad to meet so many immigrants that have come here legally to make better lives for themselves. The sheer level of perspective you get as an American is nothing short of incredible. British people don’t get that. They don’t even have electricity as far as I know. They eat beans on toast. What a bunch of fucking freaks. I’m glad some guys 250 years ago told them to fuck off. It’s the most wonderful thing anyone has ever done in history. I mean, yeah, we’ve done a lot of fucked up shit to other people, but that’s no unique to us. Every country has done fucked up shit to people. Condemn the act of doing “fucked up shit”. Don’t condemn the country it’s being done in service to. Or do, it’s your right.

America: As sure as Stephen Miller is probably a closet furry, you can you can bet your fucking ass it’s the greatest country in the history of the world. You can disagree, but you’re wrong. America isn’t a group of people, an ethnicity, or some brand name. You can’t sell America. You can only experience it. Having lived here my entire life, I can honestly say that there is no greater privilege. America is an idea, and no matter how hard you try, there’s no killing an idea. Once it exists, it won't cease to exist until every last human being on Earth disappears. For America’s enemies, this must be a pretty damn upsetting revelation. I have no concerns that our enemies are going to succeed. Rather, I laugh as they fail over and over and over again. I take more joy however, in watching all of the people around me succeed in their endeavors because of what this country offers them.

Here's to another 250 years.
